Indian Oil Corp. shares  drop  2.9% as Sensex  falls

Shares of Indian Oil Corporation LtdBangalore Wealth Management. traded 2.9 per cent lower in Monday's session at 12:52PM (IST)New Delhi Investment. The stock opened at Rs 171.15 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 171.15 and Rs 163.0, respectively, during the session so far.

The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 196.8 and a 52-week low of 85.51New Delhi Stock Exchange. About 945,026 shares changed hands on the counter so far.

Benchmark Nifty50 was down 182.8 points at 24831.8, while the BSE Sensex traded 500.29 points lower at 81188.16 at the time of writing of this report.

In the Nifty pack, 12 stocks traded the day in the green, while 38 were in the red.

Key Financials

For the quarter ended 30-Jun-2024, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 194377.56 crore, down 2.86 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 200103.28 crore and down 2.4 per cent from the year-ago quarter. The company reported net profit of Rs 3528.49 crore for the latest quarter.

Promoter Holdings

Promoters held 51.5 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2024, while FIIs held 7.79 per cent and MFs 2.38 per cent.
